'The Middle of Nowhere' is a 2012 American independent film written and directed by Ava Duvernay. This film stars Emayatzy Corinealdi, David Oyelowo, and Omari Hardwick. In the film a promising medical student must come to terms with her husband receiving an eight year prison sentence.
