Y.A.B. is back at it again with a new event series hosted by Bamboo Detroit! This event is a collaborative event with Nana Dansoa, founder of State of Black Wealth and host of WCHB Radio's Talking With Nana Show to tackle the disparities of wealth amongst women of color. Although Black women are excelling in small business and education, there is still a disparity when it comes to building generational wealth in high numbers. With Y.A.B. specifically being an advocate for women of color stimulating the business economy, we alongside Nana Dansoa, would like to use this event to be an inspirational resource to show that there are businesses in the financial assets realm that are thriving as well as provide a networking opportunity for Detroit women. 

There will be a networking session and business card swap, social media photo booth, complimentary food tasting, resource tables, and panelists including:

Gabriella Barthlow, Accredited Financial Counselor for Alpha Advisory Group. Wrote monthly “Ask Gabe” column for Source News. Co-host community-based radio shows on WLQV 1500 AM, WCHB 1200 AM, and WRCJ 90.9. Featured panel speaker at Federal Reserve Bank Money Smart Week 2012

Ebony Cochran, Founder and Consultant for Blackwood Credit Services. Featured on WDRJ, WMKM, Hot 107.5,and featured in The Michigan Chronicle. 

Jennis Lewis, Co-Founder and Consultant for Tax Team Services. Firm includes more than 20 years experience in the tax and accounting field. Voted as the 2016 #1 Rated Accounting Firm in Metro Detroit. 

Gail Perry-Mason, Co-Author of "Girl, Make Your Money Grow" and Award Winning talk show host for "Building Wealth" on Mix 92.3. Featured on national television outlets such as BET, Fox News, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, and NPR Radio.
