This is a perfect appetizer for your dinner party or accompaniment with a bowl of fresh spaghetti.

½ lb ground turkey

½ lb ground chuck

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

½ tsp fennel seed

½ tsp white pepper

2 tbls breadcrumbs

2 tbls feta crumbles

2 cloves garlic, diced

¼ of a medium sized onion, finely diced

Preheat oven to 375. In a small bowl combine the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, fennel seed, white pepper, salt and bread crumbs. In a larger bowl add the ground chuck and turkey, along with the fresh garlic and onion. Combine the meat with the fresh onion, garlic and seasoning mixture. Make golf ball sized meatballs stuffing each with a little feta. Place on tray and all to harden in freezer for about 30 minutes. Bake for 30-40 minutes, flipping over about halfway through cooking. In the final 5 minutes of cooking you can broil them for a nice crust. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.
